One of the most overwhelming questions on the mind of a lot of people
is the question of Purpose? Why am I here? Why do I exist? Why am I in
this world? What am I supposed to do? What is the reason for my being
alive? And on and on goes the questions in the minds of a lot of
people. And when they’re not sure of the answer, they become
exasperated and push the matter aside somewhere in their mind.
Many people are afraid especially when they begin to advance in age,
about not living in, or fulfilling their purpose. They are afraid of
missing it in life, they want to be sure they don’t turn out to be
successful failures in life – pursuing aggressively and achieving that
which was not meant for them to accomplish.
Many people have been taught and have reasons to believe purpose is
what an individual is passionate about in life. To discover your
purpose, locate your passion and that is it. But there is a fallacy with
this answer in that it is very possible to be passionate about so many
things in life and it naturally becomes confusing when you don’t know
which one of the many things you’re passionate about defines your true
purpose.
Let me first establish the fact that your purpose is not the same as
your passion. Being passionate about something does not make it a
purpose. It’s possible to be passionate about something but it doesn’t
make it a purpose.
To understand purpose, it is important to clearly define it. Purpose
is defined as the reason for which something is done, created or for
which it exists. Your purpose is the reason why you exist and not your
passion for activities and assignment in this life. Purpose is about a
reason, not a passion.
To know why something exist, the wisest and most logical place to
find answers is who made it and why it was made. The source of
something, why it was made and where it is placed points at the purpose
of it.
For example, a ship is built at the shipyard and placed on water. Who
made it, why it was made and where it is placed sure indicate the
purpose of the ship.
More than the source and the placement of anything, knowing the WHY,
that is, what it’s meant to achieve makes it easy to know its purpose.
Identity and knowing “why” is the key to recognizing purpose.
A car cannot cruise on water like a ship because it wasn’t built to
sail. A plane can fly because that’s why it’s made – to fly, a plane is
built to fly. Though different in looks, design and functionality,
Transportation ladies and gentlemen is the purpose of all these
inventions.
Dear friend, you are a human being and your purpose is the purpose of
all human beings even though you are unique in looks, style, design and
functionality. Where you’re from and where you’ve been placed are clear
indicators of your purpose. If you believe you’re from God and you’ve
been placed on planet earth, your purpose is the same as everyone else
that is from God and has been placed on planet earth. All human beings
have the same purpose!
Purpose is what something is designed to achieve, the power of your
purpose hence, is tied to the assignment of all humanity. Ladies and
gentlemen, all human beings have the same purpose – that is, what
humanity is meant to achieve on location earth.
For humanity to be useful and relevant and for the planet earth to be
preserved and promoted, there are five reasons why mankind was created
and you as an individual are no exception.
Those that live their lives in pursuit of these five reasons why
humanity exist have never had to question their purpose a single day.
Knowing these three reasons powers your purpose and makes very clear
your purpose in this world despite your being unique as a person.
All ships are built to sail, all planes are produced to fly, all cars
are manufactured to be driven, but the purpose of all is
transportation. Your unique identity notwithstanding, the following sums
up your purpose of all human beings:
- FRUITFULNESS
The relevance of any good tree is in its ability to produce good
fruits for people to access, consume and be satisfied. That’s the only
way to guarantee its longevity. Trees with no fruits end up as firewood
or building materials. If no one is benefiting or gaining anything from
your life either in cash, or kind or care, you’re failing in purpose.
Fruitfulness, the number one purpose of human beings is to be a blessing
to all creatures. Both man and beast. Humanity must gain from you.
Ladies and gentlemen, be fruitful.
- MULTIPLICATION
The reason for planting any seed is in expectation that it will
eventually produce more of its kind. Growth and increase is the second
reason why you exist. Growth is not just a physical thing. It extends to
ability, capacity and productivity. The ability to grow anything you
have or you’re given to make it larger, better and more beneficent to
humanity and the world at large is the second reason why you exist. You
can’t however grow anything if you don’t grow yourself. Multiplication
is the ability to create and bring forth your brain child. The reason
for your brain child is to solve a problem in this world or make life
much easier for mankind. It’s time to birth a solution to increase the
solutions in this world. Ladies and gentlemen, multiply.
- FILL THE EARTH.
A third reason why you exist is to reach out to the whole world in
generosity of solutions. You are not to birth a brain child and keep it
to yourself. It’s also your responsibility to broadcast and push out
your solution to all the corners of the earth for all men to see and
gain from, all humanity across the whole world should feel your solution
and be impacted by your answers. You must touch your generation with
your solution to a humanity challenge. Ladies and gentlemen, fill the
earth.
Humanity in general feeds and is sustained by territory earth. The
state of this world must matter to you. All things that exist should not
be abused, misused or wasted. You must think the future and not degrade
the planet through greed, carelessness or indifference. You must give
back to the world and the earth because it sustains you, supports you
and provides for you. Ladies and gentlemen, replenish the earth.
This is the ability to advocate, drive and enforce the right things
on earth. It is the power to enforce compliance in preserving, promoting
and protecting humanity and the earth. If you remain silent in the face
of oppression, injustice, abuse and subjugation, you are failing in
purpose. Dominion is simply the attempt to keep rebels – haters of
humanity and territory earth under check and control. Dominion is not
dominating others, its restraining the wicked, the unjust and the
destroyers. Dear friends, have dominion.
Ladies and gentlemen, your purpose is tied to pursuing these five
reasons why you exist. It’s not just about becoming a billionaire, or
becoming famous or following a passion.
What you should begin to seek right now is your place in this world.
Your place is basically a matter of preference which is informed by your
natural talents, nurture and personal ambition. Your purpose can be
accomplished anywhere. Your passion is a matter of preference.
Fulfilment in life and confidence before your maker will come by paying
attention to, and activating these five powers of purpose in your life.
When you activate these, it doesn’t matter who you are or what you do,
you shall be extremely blessed; life will naturally reward you with
riches, fame and fortune. These are the powers of purpose, dear friend,
activate your purpose.
