EQUIP YOURSELF AGAINST THE POWER OF POVERTY

To every situation, circumstance, substance or creation there is an invisible power energizing and making it function and keeping it active.
The human body, no matter how perfect it is, without the spirit living within,it is inactive and lifeless. A car can be very beautiful and exotic but without power from the battery, it will never move. A perfectly built brand new aircraft, without jet fuel, it would never fly. Your fantastic and expensive brand new phone, without the internet, without wifi, you can’t possibly upload or download anything.
Every creature, invention and even situation is powered mostly by an invisible force. It is impossible to master, manage or manipulate anything in this life successfully if the power behind it is not identified and managed appropriately.
In my observation and understanding, God does not directly bless anyone with wealth, God gives every man the power to create wealth. If you don’t know and can’t control the seven powers behind successful wealth creation, you will never be able to create and retain wealth.
As there are powers, in other words keys for successful wealth creation, there are also powers behind the state of poverty.

Poverty I must clearly explain, is not a condition or situation of lack, but a consequence of choices made in time past. Poverty is a consequence not a condition. Poverty is the total sum of your cheap choices, easier choices, wrong choices, greedy choices or no choices at all. Poverty is the consequence of your choices.
Are you afraid of poverty, are you afraid of becoming poor eventually at the latter years of your life? How does one become poor in life, how does one remain perpetually in a state of lack?
A keen and wide study of the lives of the very rich and a careful observation of the life of the poor has helped in my uncovering and reaffirming the powers behind poverty. Poverty is powered by certain forces. If these forces be removed from any life, if these powers be neutralized in any life, poverty will most definitely disappear from such a life.
Find following the five main powers behind a life of poverty.
  1. Laziness
Too many people have dreams; we all have needs, wants and desires. Too many people have ideas, most are wise, discerning, intelligent, analytical and brilliant, yet most of us are still broke. This is because intention, knowledge, capacity, competence and know-how remain impotent without action.
The difference between the successful and the one who struggles could be action. The energy to bring forth dreams to the realm of reality is action. The power to do is a major key to success. If you lack regular, consistent and required action, you’ll remain broke. One of the most powerful powers of poverty is laziness.
  1. Ignorance
Nigeria as a nation is not broke, Nigerians are broke. The widespread poverty in the land is not a problem of scarcity, it’s a problem of access. There’s a lot of money in this country, unfortunately many people don’t know how to access this wealth legitimately.
Ignorance in my personal interpretation is not just the lack of knowledge, it’s the decision to ignore knowledge. Ignorance, – to ignore. Many of us ignore sound knowledge, we don’t search and research; research simply means to search again, because the facts of yesterday can quickly become obsolete based on the consistent dynamics in the environment. If you still think what you learnt in school 10 years ago, 5 years ago, even 2 years ago is the knowledge you need for wealth creation, you’ve got another think coming.
Many of us remain broke not because there’s scarcity, is simply because we have no true knowledge on how to legitimately access great wealth. Many of us wouldn’t attend financial literacy classes, we wouldn’t go for trainings, seminars and get up to date knowledge on how wealth is created nowadays. Many hardly buy professional books, we’d rather buy motivational and feel good books without deep insights on answers and real strategy for success. Ignorance is a powerful power of poverty.
  1. Pride
Most young people today have a sense of entitlement when it comes to employment instead of an attitude of gratitude and the will to submit and learn at the place of their employment. They wrongly assume having gone to school and graduated, the society naturally owes them fantastic employment and a very good salary. Formal education is one thing, an opportunity to learn how work runs is another learning entirely. A place of employment is not meant to just pay salaries, it’s a place to learn as well.
When you’re too arrogant to submit, to yield and learn from your superiors and bosses, you’ll never discover the secret of career success.
Selling is the master formula for wealth. If you can’t sell you can’t be wealthy. People hate sales because they’re too proud to handle rejection, if you can’t handle rejection, it may suggest you’re a bit puffed up. Many artisans also today can’t submit long enough to learn a skill thoroughly. They see their masters as oppressors and users, hence they abandon learning half way and hit the market with half-baked abilities and skills – messing up people and contracts, they can’t stand the control of their bosses, pride won’t let them, so they go around lacking the excellence it requires to be great at what they do. Pride is a powerful power of poverty.
  1. Stinginess
People who are selfish, stingy and always prioritizing themselves, their needs and their money can’t have many friends or people who will be willing to support, assist and give to  them when they’re in need.
Wealth creation depends also on your social network. Your social network is not the number of people you know or the number of important people stored in your contact list on your phone, it’s the number of key, important and relevant people that know you. If you’ve hardly been useful, selfless, helpful to anyone, they can hardly remember you. Most people that easily arise to support and help you are those who in one way or the other owe you by a favor you’ve done them in time past. Stingy people hardly do favors and what you don’t sow, you don’t reap.
Being stingy is the fourth powerful key to poverty.
  1. Divine Help.
The worst form of plans and strategies are the ones borne out of leaning on your understanding. The future is unknown and unpredictable. Judging tomorrow absolutely by the situation of today can be misleading most times. Dominating the future comes from a peek into the future. No one knows tomorrow except the almighty. Your spiritual connection – not just religious routines, reveals to you what tomorrow holds.
If you lean on your understanding, you may fail, if you work with divine revelation, you can’t get it wrong. Disconnection from the spirit and instruction of your maker will frustrate your attempt to escape poverty.
Ladies and gentlemen, being poor is not a condition or a situation, it’s actually a consequence of bad choices, greedy choices, easier choices, more convenient choices or no choices at all.
No matter the state of the economy, if you disarm the powers that energize lack in your life, you’ll be free from insufficiencies.
Take your primary attention away from the government, your employer, self-deception and blame games, there is no time in history, in the present or even the future when there will be a perfect condition for all citizens of a nation to become rich. There are very rich people in many poor countries and many poor people in extremely rich countries today. It’s really not about what’s happening around you, it’s more of what’s happening within you.
Ladies and gentlemen, to become wealthy, disarm the powers of poverty in your life.
